Hmmmm....

Where we have strong emotions, we're liable to fool ourselves.
- Carl Sagan
This is a statement that is so true. Especially for someone like me. I'm one that has very strong feelings and emotions, even though I don't always show them. That just comes from my family. We're not a very outwardly affectionate bunch, but we know that we all love each other.

Anyway, back to the strong emotions thing. LOL It's so true that you can easily fool yourself when you feel so strongly about something. Regardless of what it is that you're having those feelings about. You think things, see things, feel things, that really just aren't there. When you realize that they're not real, it's kind of like coming out of a coma. You feel as if you've been asleep or out of it for a while and you're like, Huh, what happened?? It's not a fun feeling, but one that needs to happen so you can snap back to reality.
